Senior Agent of the Kingsman Intelligence Agency and certified gentleman, Harry Hart. Depending on the verse, his position (whether it be Arthur, Galahad, or gone rogue) in the world varies heavily.However, consistent across all verses, Harry is a gentlemanly middle-aged man with an unquenchable appetite for sass, Guinness, and elegant violence. He can be rather pompous yet noble, finding ways to enforce justice in ways that may not be conventional to his superiors or allies. Harry can have a short fuse on certain sensitive matters (such as most things pertaining to his personal life), but remains calm and collected for a majority of the time, broken up by occasional (in jest, of course) snarky quips and jabs of usually subliminal ire.

  CONTENT WARNINGS     this blog intends to explore a fair number of mature themes, containing but not limited to:

 001  : Regarding literacy.
I tend to write at casual to literate (several paragraphs) response literacy. Occasionally, I will do novella if i feel like it/there is enough to work with. There is no pressure to mirror me, and it goes without saying that the pace of a scene can change at a whim, so I fully understand if you do not wish to match. However, please provide me with at least some content to respond to/work with.

 002  : No ERP.
I don't engage in NSFW with anyone i'm not comfortable with, much less in general. Please do not ask about this. ERP is not an option on the table and never will be unless if I trust you. Fade-to-blacks, suggestive stuff, flirting, etc; is fine. Explicit content is not. In the same vein, I have all NSFW tags blocked.

 003  : Don't force ships.
I do not want to engage in a plot that may feel forced or unnatural for the sake of fulfilling that criteria. If you want something, discuss it with me in private messages (my PMs are always OOC) and I will provide my thoughts on its viability. This does not warrant a guaranteed "yes." I am open to planning and discussion, but I still need to keep my character's accuracy and the spirit of proper portrayal in mind.

 004  : Don't godmod/etc.
I love combat roleplay and tension as much as the next guy, but come on man. Don't be a killjoy or a mary sue. Absolutely no powerplaying, godmodding, etc. If you want to win something for plot reasons, just talk to me ooc and we can figure something out. Keep in mind Harry is a senior agent and incredibly skilled, even at his old age. Do not underestimate him.

 005  : Be patient.
This should go without saying, but I am a busy person with a life outside of writing and roleplaying. Please be patient when waiting on my responses, especially given their length. If I don't answer for more than two weeks without notice, feel free to call it off or PM me a reminder. Let's cooperate and be considerate of each others' time.

 006  : Don't assume.
My depictions of my muses tend to diverge from canon. I write according to my personal interpretations of canon, meaning they will not follow common fanon. My depiction of Harry may be a bit darker than canon Harry or generally accepted fanon of him, as I prefer to portray a more serious and realistic version of the Kingsman franchise. Some aspects (and one entire verse) will be heavily based on an alt-TGC AU of mine.

 007  : My preferences.
While I am aware that Hartwin (Harry x Eggsy) is one of the largest ships of the Kingsman fandom, I personally do not enjoy it and find it uncomfortable to RP in a romantic context due to my personal interpretation of them as a more paternal relationship. I will not harass you for shipping it, but please understand that I personally will have no part in it. However, platonic/familial bonds are completely welcome and even encouraged.

I am somewhat (read: very) inclined towards Merlahad (Merlin x Harry) and I enjoy them as a duo even if not romantic (though I do enjoy a bit of romance for them). Please feel free to reach out to me for plotting or just improv off of a starter in this regard.

I do not participate in OCxCC shipping, however if your lore is incredibly compelling, I may be convinced to move my foot in the slightest. That being said, if you would like to RP with me using an OC, I would be happy to; just please please have a doc/carrd/some sort of dossier for me to read up on their lore.

 PERSONA    Elegant & pragmatic.
Incredibly forward-set on life, though it's likely more wishful thinking than something he actually puts into practice. Generally regarded by friends and colleagues as an incredibly goal-focused, noble, and realistic person, it's hard to imagine Harry being a person who is haunted by regrets. Though, who doesn't ponder the "what ifs" at his age?Harry tends to have an incredibly strong sense of justice with a side of unbothered snark. While he tries his best to keep his composure, Harry is susceptible to occasional bouts of rage and finds himself easily set off by the intricate details of his personal life, most of which he's too busy with other matters to really think about. He always behaves as if he owes some great debt, and he's the only one aware of it.  PREFERENCES     The finer life.
Mirroring his rather lavish and comfortable upbringing, Harry has always had a taste for the finer things in life, such as lounges, museums, and galleries. In his youth, he was incredibly introverted and spent more time with his nose in a lepidoptery book than fiending for social recognition; merely hanging around such environments for the white noise. Even now, he still tends to keep to himself, having little interest in dabbling with people who will waste his ever-limited time. However, regardless of one's background, he's happy to extend a share of his wallet into scrying for secrets over wine and filet.

 APPEARANCE    Soft angles & silk.
Harry is well into his mid-to-late 50s now, accenting his facial features with soft crows' feet and wrinkles. His jaw tends to be set as if somewhat concerned about everything in the world at all times, and his brow has never quite lost its furrow except for rare instances of pride (or prejudice?). Despite his age, Harry remains very fit and maintains his health incredibly well due to his occupation. His body is riddled with bullet & knife scars.

 STRENGTHS    Patience & willpower.
If the concept hadn't been hammered in enough already, Harry's greatest (and most ironic) strength is his way with words and willingness to "play the long game." When he isn't manipulating some poor soul, other Kingsman agents detest having him at the table for poker night, and don't even get them started on billiards or snooker.Nicher strengths aside, it would be a disgrace to mention Harry's points without mentioning an incredible combative prowess. Before his time at Kingsman, Harry was formally an officer of the British SAS, before he staggered his way out of a dead squadron as the last survivor. While it's not clear what happened that night, the man came out with nothing but an empty magazine, a bloodsoaked knife, and his left shoulder half intact from a shotgun blast. Whether due to sheer adrenaline or an unwavering willpower, he soon found himself back behind allied lines and eventually, coronated as a Kingsman.

Set before the events of Kingsman: The Secret Service, wherein Harry is an active agent and has not yet recruited Eggsy. Set after the events of Kingsman: The Golden Circle, wherein Harry has lost his left eye and is now instated as the new Arthur overseeing the reconstruction of a destroyed Kingsman. In this AU, Harry went rogue after the events of the church where he was shot, and managed to survive through a shot of adrenaline as part of a scrapped secret operation arranged by the late Arthur. After his survival (by a mere margin), Harry is a shell of his former self and living only due to the integration of a bionic eye that his partially reconstructed the damage in his skull. His current whereabouts are unknown, but he is a danger to Kingsman's stability as a whole if he's on the loose.
